MOJO - MOBILE JOURNALISM

Accrediting body, NCTJ, required a MOJO piece towards the e-portfolio. I covered the unveiling of the first knight on horseback statue. (Video edited with Adobe Premiere Pro and uploaded by mobile).

Lincoln’s first knight on horseback has taken to the streets

Pedal Pride, by local artist Erin Fleming, is the first of 36 brightly hand-painted statues to be unveiled across the city as part of The Lincoln Knights’ Trail.

The sculpture is a cycling-themed knight, and its arrival coincides with the Lincoln Festival of Cycling and 2017 Lincoln Grand Prix.

The trail has been organised by the Lincoln Business Improvement Group, the Nomad Trust, Wild in Art and the Education Business Partnership, with plans to auction the sculptures following the end of the event on September 3.

The auction will help the Nomad Trust in raising money for new facilities for homeless people.
